At Errant Odyssey, we select journeys that are worth taking and work with experienced local trekking companies and partners to bring them together.
Our trekking adventures began in Peru, where we organised journeys including the Inca Trail. Now we are taking Errant Odyssey beyond Peru, choosing new destinations for their landscapes, culture and the quality of the trekking experience.
Georgia Trek 2027
Our next journey takes us to the mountains of Svaneti for a multi-day trek from Mestia to Ushguli, travelling through mountain villages, high passes and spectacular landscapes. The journey will also include a Georgian wine experience, bringing together trekking, local culture and one of Georgia's oldest traditions.

How We Organise Your Journey
A great trek is about more than choosing a trail. The route is only one part of the journey. Transport, accommodation, local guides, trekking operators and the practical details all need to work together.At Errant Odyssey, we select the trekking journeys we want to offer and work with experienced local trekking companies and partners in each destination. GEORGIA TRIP 2027
Our next journey takes Errant Odyssey to Georgia, where we are putting together a small-group trekking adventure through the mountains of Svaneti.The journey will include the classic Mestia to Ushguli trek, travelling between mountain villages, crossing high passes and staying in local guesthouses along the way. We are also planning to finish the journey with a Georgian wine experience, bringing together the mountains, culture and hospitality that make Georgia such an interesting destination.We are currently working on the final itinerary and arrangements with our local partners.Coming soon: more details about the itinerary, dates, price and how to join us.
Trips We Have Organised
Planning a trek for yourself is one thing. Organising a trip for a group is something else entirely.We recently organised two groups from the UK for the Inca Trail, taking care of the arrangements from beginning to end. This included accommodation, transport, trekking arrangements and a Cusco City Tour, working with trusted local partners throughout the journey.
The feedback was exceptionally positive. Our travellers appreciated being able to enjoy the experience without having to coordinate all the different pieces themselves.Group of 16 Travellers from the UKWe organised an Inca Trail journey for a group of 16 people travelling from the UK.
From their arrival in Peru to their time in Cusco and the trek itself, we coordinated the practical arrangements and worked with our trusted local trekking partners to make sure everything came together smoothly.Group of 4 Travellers from the UKWe also organised an Inca Trail experience for a smaller group of four travellers from the UK.

Errant Odyssey was created from a love of exploring the world on foot and a desire to create trekking journeys that combine great routes with memorable experiences along the way.The business is led by Rob Langdon, who has been organising trekking journeys for travellers for several years. His experience began in Peru, where he organised successful trekking journeys including the Inca Trail. Working with experienced local trekking companies taught him how important it is to combine a great route with reliable local knowledge, good organisation and attention to the practical details.Today, Errant Odyssey is about choosing interesting trekking journeys in different parts of the world and bringing the right people and local specialists together to make them happen.
